Currently there is no fee imposed in the processing of the application.
The certification process will take a minimum of 60 days from the date on which the aerodrome manual is agreed with the Regulatory Division, Department of Civil Aviation.
It is important that applicants submit the required paperwork sufficiently early to allow for detailed consideration of the application, and for inspection of the site. The Aerodrome Standards Section, Regulatory Division cannot undertake to reach a certification decision within a particular time scale or to meet a commercial deadline of the applicant.
An aerodrome certificate will be issued without an expiry date. The certificate will remain in force until it is varied, suspended or revoked.
