Thursday, 10 November 2022 - Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications attended the First Asia-Pacific Digital Ministerial Conference 2022
Yang Mulia Ir Mohammad Nazri bin Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications attended the First Asia-Pacific Digital Ministerial Conference 2022 on 10 November 2022 at Republic of Korea. 

With the theme, “Shaping Our Common Future”, the Conference was organized by Ministry of Science and ICT, Republic of Korea with the support of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP).

The Conference aimed to address the digital divide in the Asia-Pacific region through digital transformation advancement and regional digital cooperation where participating Member States had also expressed their support for the implementation of the Asia- Pacific Information Superhighway Action Plan 2022-2026 as one of the useful platforms for the promotion of digital cooperation. This also includes capacity building and addressing challenges in trust and security.

Prior to the Conference, an Asia-Pacific Digital Transformation Forum was held on 9 November 2022. Member States were provided opportunities to exchange views on digital transformation and innovation agenda with UN agencies, international and regional organizations towards building an inclusive digital society and economy.
