Friday, 18 September 2026 – UNN welcomed Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, together with Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, Yang Mulia Awang Suhara Fadzali bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Transport) at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, Yang Mulia Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar, Chief Executive of AITI, and officers from the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications to UNN Tungku Submarine Cable Landing Station on Friday, 18 September 2026.

The visit offered a platform to share insights into UNN’s data centres, submarine cable infrastructure, cybersecurity capabilities, and core network – highlighting UNN’s pivotal role in advancing Brunei Darussalam’s digital connectivity.
