MTIC Organised Isra’ and Mi’raj Ceremony 1447H/2026M

The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), together with its departments and regulatory agencies under it held a ceremony today to celebrate Isra’ and Mi’raj 1447H/2026M. The event was organised by the Authority for Infocommunications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) at the Amar Pahlawan Hall, MTIC.

Present at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.



Also in attendance were Yang Mulia Ir. Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC); Yang Mulia Awang Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Infocommunications), MTIC; Yang Mulia Awang Haji Mohammad Salihin bin Haji Aspar, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Transport), MTIC; Yang Mulia Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar, Chief Executive of AITI as the Event Chairperson; directors, senior officers and officers from MTIC as well as its departments and regulatory agencies under it.

The ceremony was blessed with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Yang Mulia Awangku Ahmad Fathurrahman Nur Firdaus bin Pengiran Haji Hassanuddin, Imam Level I, Kg Sungai Hanching Mosque.

The ceremony proceeded with a special religious talk titled “Sembahyang Teras Modal Insan Cemerlang” delivered by Yang Mulia Ustazah Siti Syuhaidah binti Haji Mohd. Yusoff, Islamic Development Officer, Islamic Da’wah Centre, emphasising the importance of prayer in strengthening personal discipline and spiritual excellence.



The ceremony is part of MTIC’s annual religious events aimed at enlivening the commemoration of Islamic events while strengthening bonds among officers across the Ministry, its departments and regulatory agencies under it.
