Kementerian Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi serta Jabatan-Jabatan, Autoriti dan Pihak Berkuasa di bawahnya telahpun mengadakan Majlis Membaca Surah Yasin dan Bertahlil hari ini bagi Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abd Rahman dan Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah di Kubah Makam Diraja, Jalan Tutong.
Kementerian Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi (MTIC) serta Jabatan-Jabatan, Autoriti dan Pihak Berkuasa di bawahnya telah mengadakan Majlis Pembukaan Tadarus Al-Quran sempena bulan Ramadhan tahun 1447H/2026M pada hari ini, bertempat di Surau Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Brunei (LTAB).
Brunei Darussalam participated in the Second Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Conference of Transport Ministers (OICCTM) held on 12 February 2026 in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, under the theme “Strengthening Transport Connectivity to Deepen Fraternity among OIC Member States”. The Conference reaffirmed collective efforts to enhance cooperation, integration and sustainable development across the transport sector within the Islamic world.
The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), together with its departments and regulatory agencies under it held a ceremony today to celebrate Isra’ and Mi’raj 1447H/2026M. The event was organised by the Authority for Infocommunications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) at the Amar Pahlawan Hall, MTIC.

As an initial step towards the transformation of Brunei Darussalam’s postal sector, PosBru Sdn Bhd (“PosBru”) held an Open Day on 10 December 2025. The session served to provide key stakeholders with a clear overview of PosBru’s role, operating model, and future direction following the corporatisation of the Brunei Postal Services Department (“BPSD”). The session was attended by representatives from all Government agencies, relevant stakeholders, as well as business customers of BPSD.
